Your hands remember. The city does not.

Lin Zhaoye can mend a watch, recognize a tool by touch, and find the flaw in someone else's careful repair. But when a client arrives at her lamplit workshop, the city's records insist that Zhaoye has never existed.

A worn pocket watch holds the first contradiction. Its trail leads through an empty theater, a missing tram platform, and an archive where the most dangerous damage has been made to names.

Moonlit Restoration is an atmospheric mystery visual novel with restoration puzzles and optional romance. Play as a capable adult heroine, reconstruct the evidence, and decide what a life restored should look like.

Qi Yan, a precise archive examiner with a mistake he can no longer keep sealed.
Xu Heng, a surveyor who knows the city's missing routes and has to learn when to stop following one.
Tang Ji, an acoustic restorer whose brightest jokes leave something unsaid.

Choose one of three romantic conclusions or an independent ending with its own friendships, work, and future. Your investigation reaches its resolution whichever relationship you choose.

Make yourself at home

• English and Simplified Chinese, switchable in the game.
• Illustrated characters, detailed coastal-city scenes, and dedicated ending artwork.
• Autosave, manual saves, dialogue history, a persistent evidence notebook, automatic reading, and read-text skipping.
• Separate music and sound controls. Headphones are optional; evidence is described in writing.

Content notes: loss of identity, institutional coercion, grief, family conflict, and non-explicit adult romance. The game is text-led and has no voice acting.

Platforms

macOS: universal build, tested on an Apple M1 Pro Mac; ad-hoc signed, not Apple-notarized.
Windows x64: an experimental compatibility build is included. It has been exported and checked as a package, but native Windows playtesting is still pending. Both downloads contain the complete story.
